Worley has been providing onsite Engineering and Project Delivery Services to our customer since 2015. We work over the full project lifecycle from idea generation to implementation oversight for projects and major maintenance ranging from small in value to over $10m in size.
The Portfolio Project Manager is Worley's onsite leader and is the key interface with the Customer with the accountability of delivering our services. After a period of rapid growth Portland has a healthy capital program forecast for the next 2-3 years and we are seeking someone to lead the team through this exciting season.
This role is based on site at Portland therefore the successful applicant will be required to be based locally.

What you'll do:Oversee the successful execution of all projects within the contract.Provide visible and effective HSE guidance while participating in the communication and resolution of HSE issues and incidents.Drive value creation processes that support a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the contract.Provide clear management and direction on the contract strategy through business planning and strategic discussions with the wider Worley business in Australia and internationally where required.Increase the overall value of the contract for both the customer and Worley through the provision of value-add services that are aligned with the customer's changing business requirements.Focus on development of team members.Effectively manage workload of the team, forecast, and manage resource requirements.Identify and communicate customer requirements to maintain and build healthy customer relationships throughout the life of the contract.Grow the volume of work under the panel to achieve financial outcomes that meet/exceed the contract budget.What you'll have:Outstanding customer relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility, and then understand and deliver what the customer needs.Excellent people management skills such as leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to clearly articulate problems and solutions, determine steps to remedy issues, and deliver on promises to a high level of quality.Able to make difficult decisions and lead and manage others in changing business conditions.Proven ability to drive change in a large team.Proven portfolio and/or project delivery leadership experience in a brownfield environment.Onsite practical safety leadership skills.Strong interest in the development of our people and how it is critically important to the success of Worley, our customers and themselves.University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.Extensive related experience, including project management, MMM, onsite brownfields environments.Why you should applyCompetitive remuneration & employee benefits.Take advantage of our global on-line learning platform!Enjoy a varied & challenging role.Career development opportunities beyond this role.Moving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
