The Portfolio Operations Analyst will contribute to the Context Capital team by providing quality, timely, and accurate operational support and exceptional delivery of services to a range of clients.The role will involve working closely with Context Capital employees, Directors, consultants, contractors, suppliers, wrap platforms, fund managers, and research providers.The role will provide proactive, relevant reporting, information, and research ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of information for Context Capital clients' portfolios.Key tasks include ensuring timely portfolio adjustments, collaborating with Portfolio Managers to add holdings, assisting in the onboarding of new portfolios, and managing reporting requirements.
This role is essential for effective portfolio management and reporting.Key responsibilities:Proactively engage with key external stakeholders like the Custodian, Fund managers, Investment platforms, Responsible entities, and Execution Agents.Daily and monthly reconciliations.Fund and platform flows reporting.Preparation of reports.Rebate administration.Daily monitoring of Model portfolios for Context's SMA and Endowment clients.Assist with Endowment accounts opening and rebalancing.Additional tasks as required.Experiences & Personal Attributes:A 'can do' and 'have a go' attitude.2-3+ years' experience working in funds management within client operations, alternatively in an operations and/or back-office role within a Custodian, Platform provider, or within a financial advice practice.Tertiary degree in Finance or Accounting, or similar.Solid understanding of funds management and/or financial advice ecosystem.Strong knowledge of the Australian managed funds industry, investor services, regulations, and industry guidelines and practices.Excellent attention to detail – a strong ability to distil financial information down to key concepts and convey this in written form efficiently, clearly, and concisely.Strong organisational and time management skills – meet deadlines and coordinate and manage various tasks at a time (and reprioritise as new tasks come to hand).Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate and develop relationships with internal teams and external parties including service providers.Excellent communication skills - ability to liaise and work with external parties and senior business leaders.Strong Excel skills as well as proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, while also taking ownership of your own objectives and accountability for the end-to-end management of specific tasks.Working rights – must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia e.g.
