DCS Clerk Grade 11/12Ongoing full-time opportunityFlexible working arrangements available – Sydney basedAbout youExperienced in managing complex stakeholder relationships at strategic and operational levelsExperience in government digital transformation highly regardedExperience in managing delivery of technologyCustomer focused & detail orientedFamiliar with agile ways of workingExperience with development of Briefing Notes, Cabinet Submissions and able to distill complex technical narratives into plain EnglishAbout the roleWorking as part of the Digital Strategy, Investment & Assurance team at the centre of NSW Government, you will help the agencies that make up government improve their digital maturity through increased adoption of Digital NSW services.The Portfolio Engagement team understands our customers' specific challenges and focus areas. They provide customised entry points to our services, enabling customers to leverage the best and most effective solutions offered from Digital NSW.Your day-to-day activities will include (but not limited to):Identifying key stakeholders across government and developing strategic relationships to help them accelerate delivery of transformative digital projects.Simplifying government access to services from Digital NSW and positioning our branch, Digital Strategy, Investment & Assurance (DSIA), as the front door to NSW digital government.Collaborating with agencies to ensure their investment pipeline is accurate and regularly updated.Assisting agency portfolios to navigate funding pathways, including the Digital Restart Fund.Engaging with teams across DSIA and Digital NSW, to ensure the lifecycle of digital & ICT initiatives are delivered in line with relevant policy and standards.Working with Ministerial portfolios you will form a deep understanding of their strategy and priorities to identify and promote success stories where government use of Digital NSW services have created citizen, economic, environmental, or social benefit.Your responsibilities will include:Managing relationships and engagements with customers across all DSIA services to ensure reporting of Digital NSW service performance is timely and accurate and seek to identify areas for improvement to customer experience.Preparing and presenting accurate and relevant strategic plans, briefing notes, options papers, and reports for the executive to support informed decision making.Adapting to changing priorities and dealing simultaneously with a wide range of highly complex issues in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.Conducting research and analysis of industry trends and customer needs.Developing and implementing a business development strategy that promotes innovation, increases service adoption, improves customer satisfaction, and supports the growth of the DSIA and Digital NSW strategy.Who we areWe are uniquely positioned at the centre of government, able to provide insight, advice and influence through strategy, architecture, investment, assurance and transformation services.
