About the role
As a Portfolio Manager at the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) with TAFE SA, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of complex, multi-faceted projects that drive organisational transformation. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive portfolio assurance, conducting high-level analyses, and managing key stakeholder relationships to enhance ICT systems, facilities, and strategic business initiatives.
You will lead project reviews, facilitate change management, and ensure alignment with business objectives and outcomes. By fostering collaboration, mentoring project leaders, and implementing robust governance frameworks, you will contribute directly to the success and innovation of TAFE SA's strategic initiatives.
Essential to this role:
Proven leadership skills in effectively managing complex ICT and infrastructure portfolios with competing priorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and navigate complex issues. Experience in undertaking strategic project and change management projects, including developing business cases, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale change management programs and building customer-centric relationships. Expertise in modern project and quality management concepts, such as agile/hybrid delivery frameworks. Proven ability to establish networks and resolve complex project-related challenges. Accreditation in one or more methodologies such as Prince2, PMP, Agile, and Lean is highly desired. Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at the Department of Human Services (DHS).
Out of office work will be required. Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required. Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program. Eligibility to work in Australia. Application Instructions
