Housing Australia delivers on its objective of improving housing outcomes by providing grants, loans and other support to increase the supply of housing, encouraging investment in housing, providing finance or grants that support housing programs within other areas of government, increasing the capability of the community housing sector and assisting individuals to access the housing market earlier.About the roleIn this role you will be responsible for administering Housing Australia's Management requirements under the Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF), including ensuring all policies, procedures and reporting requirements associated with loans and payment are met.You will be required to build strong relationships across the client base and wider Housing Australia Teams to ensure a smooth operation of the HAFFF process.Key responsibilitiesManage portfolio of commercial loans - review covenant obligations and invoices submitted by clients and process construction draw downsUndertake due diligence (financial, technical, regulatory) to support credit submission/review processesWork collaboratively with internal teams to manage transactions including credit, legal and finance team membersMonitor Housing Australia's Management requirements under the Housing Australia Future Fund FacilityIdentify key risks and recommendation of transaction structuresOngoing portfolio management including completion of annual reviews of HAFFF clientsSkills and experienceUp to 5 years of banking and financing experience, preferably in commercial property and/or construction related financing, with appropriate tertiary qualificationsSound credit risk skills, including a strong understanding of balance sheet, P&L and cashflow statementsUnderstanding of loan products and documentationFinancial modelling/forecasting skills are advantageousPreferred experience in property finance or understanding of community housing sectorStrong written and verbal communication skillsHow to applyWe would love to hear from you.
