About The Role
The Portfolio Implementation Associate supports the Portfolio Implementation Manager in executing changes to Lonsec's portfolios on partner platforms. Key tasks include ensuring timely portfolio adjustments, collaborating with Portfolio Managers to add holdings, assisting in the onboarding of new portfolios, and managing reporting requirements. This role is essential for effective portfolio management and reporting.
Responsibilities: Work closely with the Portfolio Managers to ensure investment selected for addition is available across all relevant platforms.Once a decision to make portfolio changes has been made, the Implementation Associate needs to execute trades efficiently and accurately.Post-trade checks ensuring accuracy of trades.Produce and publish portfolio change reports.Work closely with the investment analysts to deliver regular reports and due diligence reviews for the platforms.Work closely with the platforms to ensure a thorough understanding of each platform's implementation process.Maintain and update implementation process guide regularly and as required.Maintain and update platform mandate summary document.Work with technology to enhance our implementation process and functionality.About you: An undergraduate degree in a business or mathematical based discipline (science or engineering) e.g. BComm, BBus, BA, BEc, BSc, BApSci.1+ years of relevant industry work experience.A good understanding of Asset Management services.Excellent attention to detail - a strong ability to distill financial information down to key concepts and convey this in written form efficiently, clearly, and concisely.Strong organisational and time management skills - meet deadlines and coordinate and manage various tasks at a time (and reprioritise as new tasks come to hand).A clear and demonstrable understanding of investment markets, investment vehicles, and major asset classes within the funds management industry, with a particular strength in and understanding of asset allocation.Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously while taking responsibility for meeting personal objectives.Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.A demonstrable interest in finance and investment.What we offer: Ongoing flexible working arrangements.Family friendly work-life balance.Paid parental leave.Volunteer and Study leave.Genuinely open and supportive culture with an approachable executive team.Ongoing training and professional development.Wellness program (including an annual wellness reimbursement for all staff to put towards health and wellness-related activities).Social and charity events.If you're a motivated individual with strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of portfolio implementation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with investment professionals, we'd love to hear from you!
