About The Role
The Portfolio Implementation Associate supports the Portfolio Implementation Manager in executing changes to Lonsec's portfolios on partner platforms. Key tasks include ensuring timely portfolio adjustments, collaborating with Portfolio Managers to add holdings, assisting in the onboarding of new portfolios, and managing reporting requirements. This role is essential for effective portfolio management and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Portfolio Managers to ensure investments selected for addition are available across all relevant platforms.
Execute trades efficiently and accurately once a decision to make portfolio changes has been made.
Perform post-trade checks to ensure accuracy of trades.
Produce and publish portfolio change reports.
Collaborate with investment analysts to deliver regular reports and due diligence reviews for the platforms.
Maintain a thorough understanding of each platform's implementation process.
Regularly update the implementation process guide as required.
Maintain and update the platform mandate summary document.
Work with technology to enhance our implementation process and functionality.
About You:
An undergraduate degree in a business or mathematical based discipline (e.g., BComm, BBus, BA, BEc, BSc, BApSci).
1+ years of relevant industry work experience.
A good understanding of Asset Management services.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely.
Strong organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage various tasks.
Clear understanding of investment markets, investment vehicles, and major asset classes with a particular strength in asset allocation.
Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously while meeting personal objectives.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
A demonstrable interest in finance and investment.
