Band 5 - Salary range $104,284 - $147,238 per annum (plus super) An exciting opportunity exists in the TasNetworks Strategy team where we are building a new EPMO team comprising 4 roles:
EPMO LeaderEPMO Planning & Prioritisation SpecialistEPMO Portfolio Delivery & Quality SpecialistEPMO AnalystThe EPMO Portfolio Delivery & Quality Specialist, located at Lenah Valley in Hobart's northern suburbs and reporting to the EPMO Leader, will manage the portfolio process for projects after investment decision with positive outcomes for stakeholders. This role will work with leaders across the business to translate the approved project business cases and programs into effective and efficient delivery that meets their objectives.
This role will operate cross-functionally across areas such as digital, innovation and business services. As delivery is decentralised across multiple areas of the business, the role needs to work effectively with varied stakeholders and be highly effective at influencing.
As the title suggests this role will support the delivery and quality of projects within the portfolio. They will support insightful reporting, provide visibility of sub-portfolios and highlight interdependencies and risks across the portfolio including any potential delays, cost or benefit adjustments. Identification of risk and risk management and call out insights to mitigate or reduce project risk, whilst keeping projects on track.
This role will be the owner of contemporary and effective project and program lifecycle framework and templates that are fit for purpose to deliver consistency and continuity.
About you We are looking for a strong communicator with the ability to drive outcomes with diverse leaders and have demonstrated ability to respectfully debate to stretch thinking.
You will have demonstrated experience bringing discipline and structure to a diverse portfolio with broad objectives and be comfortable with flexibility required through project definition. You will have portfolio management experience supporting multiple projects and works simultaneously.
You will have a strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of projects frameworks and templates in addition to a great understanding of delivery, interdependencies and risks.
You have extensive experience (5+ years) in portfolio management, portfolio delivery, and investments. Ideally, you will have formal training or qualifications in project management.
You will have relevant tertiary education with engineering, digital, commercial or business disciplines or demonstrated proven experience. You will preferably have experience in the energy sector and an understanding of financials in a regulated business.
