Job Summary: As Portfolio Controls Lead, you will lead a team to manage cost engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control, forecasting, and planning/scheduling activities for a project that requires technical skill and expertise.
You will provide leadership, oversight, guidance, training, and mentoring to your team on key project procedures and risk management to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
Major Responsibilities: Manages cost engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control, and planning/scheduling activities for a large, complex project, or for discipline/project/proposal estimating or staff planning activities that requires a high degree of technical skill and experienceDevelops the preparation and presentation of project/program estimates and cost forecastsIdentifies and provides innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problemsReviews Earned Revenue Determination Data, Proposal Financial Summaries, Project Financial Status Reports, and Charge for Project Working Capital calculations for assigned project/programReviews contract drafts for adequacy of cost and scope definition and Project Controls requirementsCoordinates development of all data in support of negotiationsOther responsibilities as designated.Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience or 19+ years of relevant work experienceRequired Knowledge and Skills: What are the most important knowledge and skills (includes technical skills) that are needed UPON ENTRY to do the job successfully?What 3 to 5 KEY factors (ex.
