With its convenient location, this affordable Melbourne Airport hotel is the ideal choice for visitors flying into Melbourne late at night or flying out early in the morning.Job DescriptionIn this cluster role, you will report to the Portfolio Financial Controller and ensure smooth daily operations of the Finance for multiple properties including Novotel Melbourne South Wharf, Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley, and Ibis Budget Melbourne Airport.Key duties include, but are not limited to:Weekly Payroll in line with Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010Assist the Portfolio Financial Controller with Financial Forecasts and Budget PreparationsComplete End of Month Reports, P&L, Forecasts, and other financial reportsManage and process Accounts Payable/ReceivableCoach and lead the finance teamEnsure Internal controls and maintain the credit limitsAssist with all audits related to financial standards and procedures.QualificationsPrevious experience in a similar roleRelevant tertiary qualification desirable; however, not essentialStrong attention to detailAbility to effectively time manage a large volume workload, meet deadlines, and work well under pressureProven ability to train and coach team membersExcellent Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Linked spreadsheets, and MacrosAuthentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills, and flexibility in resolving issuesExperience using Opera (PMS) and SUN System would be advantageousAdditional InformationWhy Work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
