As part of the new Operating Model, we are looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office.
This Senior Portfolio Analy st  is responsible for the Analytics & Portfolio Management functions within Technical Solutions.
The key focus of the role is: a) Support in the design and continuous improvement of Ansvar's Data & A nalytics framework including design, development and maintenance of data systems, processes and tools; b) Support in expanding and improving Ansvar's Portfolio Management framework – using data-driven insights to formulate portfolio optimisation strategies and profit improvement plans; c) Financial management – support the TS Budgeting and Forecasting processes Key responsibilities Analytics & Management Information System (MIS) Framework Portfolio Management / Performance Dashboards  Portfolio optimisation  Natural Peril exposure / accumulation management & modelling  Financial Management Knowledge, skills and experience Experience (min.
2+ years) working within a Commercial Lines insurance function,  preferably in Australia Delivery of Analytics, MIS and Portfolio Management Framework Delivery of portfolio management reports and data-driven insights Delivery of portfolio optimisation strategies and actions plans Excellent knowledge of coding / programming languages such as VBA, SQL, SAS, R, Python Strong skills in data visualisation tools, e.g.
