Duration: Permanent Location: Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office Job ref: REQ203106 About the roleAnsvar Australia, part of Benefact Group, is investing heavily in a new Operating Model and capability uplift in our Technical Solutions team.
We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office.
This role is responsible for the Analytics & Portfolio Management functions within Technical Solutions.
Key Focus of the RoleSupport in the design and continuous improvement of Ansvar's Data & Analytics framework, including the design, development, and maintenance of data systems, processes, and tools;Support in expanding and improving Ansvar's Portfolio Management framework using data-driven insights to formulate portfolio optimisation strategies and profit improvement plans;Financial management – support the TS Budgeting and Forecasting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytics & Management Information System (MIS) FrameworkPortfolio Management / Performance DashboardsPortfolio optimisationNatural Peril exposure / accumulation management & modellingFinancial ManagementKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceExperience (min.
2+ years) working within a Commercial Lines insurance function, preferably in AustraliaDelivery of Analytics, MIS and Portfolio Management FrameworkDelivery of portfolio management reports and data-driven insightsDelivery of portfolio optimisation strategies and action plansExcellent knowledge of coding/programming languages such as VBA, SQL, SAS, R, PythonStrong skills in data visualisation tools, e.g.
