Portfolio Administrator

Based in Hawthorn, we are a privately owned self licensed financial advisory firm dedicated to providing high net worth families exceptional quality and personalised wealth services. 
Responding to significant business growth and client demand, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our existing in-house Portfolio Administration team. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Administration, you will be working closely with our advisory teams to ensure that investment initiatives are implemented and executed proficiently and methodically. 
The Role Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and follow up of investment applications, redemptions, and transfersTerm deposit maturitiesInput, update and reconcile investments on our portfolio management system.Portfolio administration reportsScanning, collating, and filing of client documentationLiaise with clients and professionals including fund managers, bankers, stockbrokers, and accountantsMaintaining accurate file notesUpdating client filesProactive input into the continuous improvement of our portfolio administration systems, processes, and procedures Other ad hoc general administrative tasks Skills and Experience We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their ability to:
Prioritise and work independently within timeframes with an analytical and thorough approachBuild a rapport with clients and team membersExceptional attention to detailGood verbal and written communication skillsPassion for delivering exceptional client service Knowledge of Financial Services investment sector preferred Personal Requirements You will have the following attributes:
