First impressions count. To get our guests' memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're looking for a Porter who can make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home.
A little taste of your day-to-day: Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Responding to guest requests and enquiries to ensure complete guest satisfaction.Assisting guests by taking their luggage and handing them over to the Concierge, or directing them to reception and the Guest Services Agents.Offering valet parking and driving their car safely to a nearby carpark.What We need from you: It's a physical role and you'll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important.Strength – with occasional lifting of items up to 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects.Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to.Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories.Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential.Literate – good level of reading, writing, math and computers.Drivers Licence – a full licence and the experience and confidence to safely valet park our guests' cars.What you can expect from us: We'll reward all your hard work with a great salary and benefits – including a uniform, great room discount and superb training.
