Previous fire experience is preferred; however, it is not essential.

The Role Our Bendigo team is currently seeking a Portable Fire Technician to join our service team to look after our client base in Bendigo and the surrounding region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing fire equipment in accordance with Australian Standards, along with fire equipment product sales across a diverse range of industries.
Your primary duties will include:
Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian StandardsRoutine testing of fire protection equipment in accordance with Australian StandardsLiaising with customers to promote a professional and friendly relationshipEnsuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety requirementsCompleting service records using smart device technologyMinimum Requirements To be considered for this role, ideally, you will need to have:
Fire industry experience (highly regarded)Current Driver's LicenceStrong focus and commitment to workplace safetyExcellent customer service and time management skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsGood personal presentationWillingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protectionGood computer/smart device technology skillsThe position requires the successful candidate to be available to participate in a callout roster and to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.
