It provides specialist fire protection applications, products, service and installation across the building and construction, mining and marine sectors.Wormald has been designing, installing and servicing fire protection systems since 1889 and is an industry leader in providing fire protection solutions, with an excellent reputation and firmly established brand.Job DescriptionOur Bendigo team is currently seeking a Portable Fire Technician to join our service team to look after our client base in Bendigo and the surrounding region.The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing of Fire Equipment in accordance with the Australian Standards along with Fire Equipment product sales across a diverse range of industries.Your primary duties will include:Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian StandardsRoutine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipmentLiaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly relationshipEnsuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirementsTo be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have:Fire industry experience would be highly regardedCurrent Driver's LicenceStrong focus and commitment to workplace safetyExcellent customer service and time managementOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsGood personal presentationWillingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protectionThe position will require the successful candidate to be available to participate in a callout roster and be available to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.This is a permanent full-time position offering the successful candidate a chance to work with a cohesive team of Fire Industry professionals.
