And now's the time.Your opportunityPort Authority of New South Wales is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Marine Operations team in Port Kembla as a Casual Port Officer.The primary purpose of the Port Officer (PO) Casual position in Port Kembla is to assist with safety outcomes for the port.
This includes carrying out pilot transfers, maintenance of response equipment and pilot vessels, checks on navigational aids, escorting ships in and out of the harbour, participating in emergency response (including oil spills, chemical spills, firefighting), completing security and environmental patrols and handling audit and inspection activities.
You will receive approximately 12 weeks of on-the-job training.
