Auriga operates a modern fleet of Airbus helicopters, launches, and ships to provide services to the maritime and port sectors. Our customer base is diverse and spread across multiple locations throughout Australia.
Your new role
The successful Port Hedland Manager requires a strong understanding of operational and business management, with the ability to identify, coordinate, and manage operational objectives to meet customer demands and key performance metrics.
You will need strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail to lead a multi-disciplinary team effectively, in collaboration with our key client.
With a home base in Port Hedland, this role presents a unique opportunity to take ownership and influence the highest level of safety and quality outcomes, business performance, and operational excellence.
What we are looking for Operational management background overseeing and managing day-to-day operations, engaging across the entire business with all relevant managers and stakeholders to ensure an efficient, compliant, and, importantly, safe operation. The ability to effectively lead and motivate teams of highly qualified technical professionals in the aviation and maritime sectors.
A leader who can take initiative, engage and motivate others, and foster a positive work environment and values-driven culture.
Ability to drive continuous improvements whilst developing collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Performance Monitoring and timely reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the overall organisational performance. Generating regular reports and providing updates to senior management.
Business Management Qualifications (or related discipline) and/or considerable experience in a senior operations or management role within the Port / Mining/Aviation or Marine sector.
