Poolz is a fast-growing company offering a unique, streamlined pool-building experience through our EasyBuild program. We connect homeowners with trusted pool builders while providing professional guidance and custom pool designs. We're seeking an experienced Pool Design and Sales Specialist to join our team, working directly with homeowners to design their dream pools and collaborating with local builders to secure competitive quotes.
About the role As a Pool Design and Sales Specialist, you will meet with homeowners, assess their needs, design custom pools, work with local pool builders to obtain and present quotes, and work with the winning pool builder to secure a signed contract for the project. The role offers flexibility - you can work part-time or full-time based on your availability. The remuneration scales accordingly, allowing for high earning potential based on performance and time commitment.
Your schedule will be managed through a shared calendar where our team books appointments directly for you. All leads and appointments are sourced for you - no cold calling or approaching customers. Every lead you meet has already been qualified by our team, ensuring you're working only with serious, ready-to-build homeowners.
Key Responsibilities Meet with qualified homeowners to assess their site, discuss their pool needs, and provide expert advice on pool options and design (knowledge of concrete, fibreglass and precast pools is a bonus).Develop custom pool designs that align with homeowner budgets, preferences, and site requirements (support provided by the Poolz design team).Work closely with local pool builders who are partnered with Poolz to obtain accurate and competitive quotes.Present pool designs and quotes to homeowners, explaining the benefits and implications of different features and pricing options.Assist homeowners in selecting the best pool builder and ensuring smooth communication throughout the process.Manage your calendar availability for appointments, whether part-time or full-time, as our team books homeowner meetings directly into your schedule.Attend online meetings with the Poolz head office and use digital tools for project tracking and reporting.Manage sales follow-ups, ensuring all customer queries are addressed promptly and thoroughly.Build and maintain strong relationships with both homeowners and pool builders (you will work with approximately 20 pool builders locally).Demonstrate persistence and tenacity in following up leads and closing sales.Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pool design, sales, or pool construction.Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of swimming pool construction, design, and site assessments.Technology Proficiency: Ability to use technology tools, attend online meetings, and work with design software (training provided if needed).Sales Skills: Strong sales and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to close deals and provide excellent customer service.Time Management: Highly organised and able to manage your own schedule effectively. Part-time and full-time availability options.Remote Work: Comfortable working from a home office and visiting customers daily in and around Sydney.Attention to Detail: Ability to follow up on sales leads and ensure accurate quotes and designs are presented to homeowners.Why Join Poolz?
