About the role Phillip Swimming & Ice-Skating Centre is open for business and are looking for CASUAL RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) qualified Lifeguards to join the team for 2024-25 season available to work on weekdays and weekends. Positions are responsible for actively supervise the pool and surrounding areas, ensuring the environment is safe, clean and enjoyable for all our team members and visitors within our centre. You will be responsible for identifying any safety issues and will manage and respond to emergency incidents and related reporting. The position requires you to work under general direction of Operations Manager.
Skills Required You are a self-motivated and customer service focussed individual. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a challenge. Your superior communication and observation skills, along with your ability to keep calm and act quickly in an emergency situation will see you excel in this role!
Dynamic, vibrant, confident and professional personalityYou should have current First Aid certificate, current CPR certificate, pool Life Guard Licence from RLSSA true passion for hospitality and deals directly with public and staff, dispersing information and effectively resolving disputesExceptional service skills and guest focusHighly adaptable and able to perform during high-pressure service periodsSuperior communicationCurrent First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR CertificateDetail orientated.High standard of personal presentationThe flexibility to work on a rotating roster including early mornings, afternoons, evenings on Weekdays and WeekendsPrevious experience working at an Aquatic facility (desirable)You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country In Return In return for your success and commitment to the role, we will offer:
