housing, allowances, superResidential – OnslowIndicative Annual Package range of $135,303.78 to $149,706.02 which includes housing provision and annual allowances (conditions apply) + 6 Weeks Leave + Super Matching Scheme.Starting salary is negotiable, dependent on skills and experience.Shire provided accommodation and a relocation package may be available to eligible candidates for this role.About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Swimming Pool Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at our aquatic centre in Onslow.
This role supports the Swimming Pool Manager or Coordinator in delivering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the community.
Periodic travel to other Shire towns of Paraburdoo and Tom Price will be required to provide operational support and staff coverage as needed.The successful candidate will ensure water quality compliance with WA Health Department standards, oversee daily pool maintenance, safety, and hygiene, and support the development and implementation of programs and activities.
They will maintain administrative records, including incident and financial reports, lead and supervise staff, and perform emergency procedures, including first aid and water rescues.
Acting as the responsible manager in the absence of the Pool Manager is also a key responsibility.To be successful, you will have relevant experience managing aquatic centres, strong chemical and manual handling knowledge, and the ability to work independently and lead a team.
Experience in regional pool management is desirable.Minimum Qualifications: C Class Driver's Licence, LIWA membership and Pool Operator Accreditation (Class 1 facilities), a Working with Children Check, a current First Aid Certificate, and a Pool Lifeguard Certificate.This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in a vibrant community, work in a supportive team environment, and experience career growth and development opportunities.
