About the Role
Bring your expertise in customer service and sales and join our friendly and committed team whilst gaining further experience in retail branch operations. The role is responsible for delivering consistent high levels of customer service by ensuring all customers are approached and provided with adequate support to meet their poly needs. This will be achieved via ongoing follow up of sales opportunities to meet agreed KPIs, while supporting the Polycon Engineering Poly Strategy.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Developing the poly business and sales plans to achieve KPIs and targets.
Building and developing strong customer relationships.
Poly strategy implementation.
Product forecasting, developing sales quotes and processing sales.
Coordinating pricing of all products/services.
Network and segment liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborating with branches and developing internal communication.
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, experienced professional who can drive our poly sales to the next level.
Essential
Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering Science preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in Engineering or Irrigation sector.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
Computer literacy – Intermediate level in MS Office software (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel).
Strong self-motivation, organisational and time management skills.
Ability to problem solve, as appropriate to role and responsibility level.
A self-starter with the ability to work successfully autonomously as well as part of a team when required.
Evidence of building successful relationships with customers and the ability to increase sales.
Inventory and account management experience.
Desirable
Experience in poly sales.
Marketing and customer relationship management skills.
