In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the nation's political discourse, ensuring that our audience stays informed and engaged with the latest developments and insights from the heart of the Australian political landscape.
Your primary responsibility will be to produce high-quality, accurate, and thought-provoking content across various platforms, including television, radio, and digital.
The Job Develop and maintain federal political contacts across parties for key story access.Monitor political news across media platforms; brief team on developments.Pitch, research, and write scripts for on-air interviews adhering to ABC policies.Collaborate with Radio National Breakfast team on content, angles, and questioning.Contribute to Radio National Breakfast's digital presence.Work effectively in a team and independently.Generate diverse stories relevant to a broad Australian audience.Engage with outer suburban communities for relevant storytelling.
