THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Policy and Strategy and working in a small team, the Policy Officer will develop high quality operational policy solutions, and documentation which are consistent with the Disability Services Safeguards Act 2018 and support the development and implementation of systems for the Disability Worker Regulation Scheme (the Scheme).
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Contribute to the development and provision of advice and sound policy recommendations to senior management and the Disability Worker Registration Board of Victoria.Undertake research and contribute to the development of a range of policy and initiatives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.Assist the monitoring and reporting on high priority issues, risks and trends and assist to prepare and present comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex issues.
