Become a Policy Officer with Identitywa and make a difference.
We are looking for a self-motivated, confident and dynamic individual to join our Quality and Compliance Team in a part time capacity (4 days per week).
For this role, a good understanding of NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and what it means to work in the Disability sector, excellent communication skills and experience in working with senior stakeholders would be essential.
You'll need to be flexible, well organised and an active team member.
The role will be busy and varied and include a diverse range of tasks.
The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience of working in a busy environment and need to be resilient, considered and calm.
What we can offer you:  Friendly and supportive work environment  Attractive salary packaging options up to $18,550 Ongoing specialised training and skill development What you'll do: Carefully create and review policy and procedures within industry best practice and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework Collaborate with Quality and Compliance Team to review systems, processes and documentation across all service areas Update and maintain policy files (hard copies and electronic) to ensure currency of all policy files Maintain policies and procedures according to scheduled and version control Co-facilitate and participate in workshops, focus and reference groups Participate in organisational internal audits  Provide monthly reports to the Manager Quality and Compliance  Contribute to team meetings and committees/working groups as required Comply with the organisational Code of Conduct and policy and procedure  What you'll bring to the role:  Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment A tertiary degree in social science, human services or equivalent High level writing skills and attention to detail Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including stakeholder engagement Experience in social policy development, review and implementation Demonstrated knowledge in NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and NDIS Practice Standards How to apply:  Please apply through our website or through seek with your resume and cover letter.
