Policy Officer

As our clients are working towards the Government's first 100-day plans, we are looking for dynamic and driven Policy professionals from Policy Officers to Principal Policy Officers.
Working across departments and non-government organisations, our client has a need for 2x Policy professionals who are either skilled in Research, Governance, Review, and Analysis or with demonstrated experience in Policy development and/or implementation.
The successful candidates will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure accountability during this pivotal time.
Successful candidates will: Undertake strategic research and analysis and prepare high-level advice related to government policy, legislation, and systemic issues to senior management.Lead strategic policy projects including the development of submissions, Cabinet submissions, and Cabinet Budget Review Committee submissions.Prepare a range of written materials including briefing notes, memorandums for approval, project plans, correspondence, discussion papers, and reports to a high standard.Working across the social service delivery portfolio, the successful candidates need to demonstrate some or all of the following: Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strong writing skills and experience preparing policy or project materials for a range of audiences.Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes.A proven track record in analysing and interpreting data and translating it into well-informed health planning, policy, or strategy.Experience in managing end-to-end program delivery and implementing appropriate measures of success.To apply:
