Be a part of the Pay Enhancement Program within the Corporate Services Division with this temporary opportunity based in Brisbane. As the Policy Officer, your role will undertake research and provide reports and advice to the Program Director on policy and legislation issues affecting the Health portfolio.
The role
Reporting to the Program Director, your role will be responsible for assisting with the development, planning, and monitoring of the portfolio's short and long-term legislation program.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
Ability to research policy issues of a complex nature and the capacity to provide accurate and timely advice to management in relation to these issues.Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.Knowledge of, or the ability to acquire rapidly, knowledge of:Health portfolio legislation; andthe organisation, functions, and policies of Queensland Health.About us
