Information on this website will be published in accordance with the Guidance on Caretaker Conventions until after the election and conclusion of the caretaker period.Details: The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is the independent prosecution authority of the Australian Capital Territory. It comprises the Director of Public Prosecutions, an independent statutory officer, and staff employed under the Public Sector Management Act 1994, to assist the Director.The role of the Policy Officer is to provide policy advice to the Director and Executive, including on Cabinet submissions, law reform, and other project work. You will work closely with other sections of the office, ensuring that law reform issues are raised with the Executive and brought to the attention of Government.
