Your new role
Hays is currently working on a number of positions where you will be working with highly skilled subject matter experts to deliver a number of policy-related tasks, inclusive of, but not limited to the following;
EL1 Policy Manager
Develop and implement policies that align with the agencies vision and goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse regulatory changes and assess their impact.
Monitor industry trends and propose adjustments to existing policies.
Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and internal teams.
Lead policy advocacy efforts and represent the company in relevant forums.
Engage with Non-Government institutions to conduct research
Development of policy drafts
Development and coordination of Ministerial papers
Engage with internal and external stakeholders
Mentoring of junior staff
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these roles, you must have performed the required tasks within the APS. This role is only open to Australian citizens, and you must be willing to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2 or TSPV)
