Adhering to the Work Level Standards for an APS Level 6 employee, you will:
Be able to undertake work that is complex or sensitive and operate under limited direction Exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role Demonstrate sound decision-making and judgement to provide advice and deliver results that contribute to strategic priorities Need to communicate clearly, persuasively, and convey information in a way that is tailored to the audience Be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a network of key internal and external stakeholders. Eligibility A degree or significant experience in a relevant field is highly desirable. Relevant fields include (but are not limited to): economics; industry and innovation policy, public policy, finance, law, commerce, econometrics, data science, stakeholder management, communication, program and project delivery, governance, and secretariat support.
To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
