Duties
Support the provision of strategic policy advice that informs decision making and contribute to the development, delivery, implementation and review of strategic policy and projects to improve outcomes for children and young people in Tasmania, which may include a particular focus on the area of child safeguarding and child safe organisations, and implementation of reforms recommended by the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government's Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings.
Period of Appointment
Fixed-term, ASAP for 2 years.
Hours per fortnight
73.5 hours per fortnight.
Essential Requirements Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment).The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
