Position Title: Policy and Planning Manager

Salary: 95k per year
Australian Massage Products Pty Ltd T/A Chilink Massage Chairs is seeking to employ a full-time Policy and Planning Manager to join our Perth office.
Position Summary:
The Policy and Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of key policies and strategic plans to advance the organization's goals and objectives.
This role requires a deep understanding of policy analysis, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement.
The Policy and Planning Manager will work closely with internal staff, external partners, and relevant government bodies to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities: Policy Development and Analysis:
Develop and review policies in line with legislative requirements, organizational goals, and industry standards.
Conduct research, analysis, and impact assessments to support evidence-based policy-making.Strategic Planning and Implementation:
Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive strategic plans that align with the organization's vision.
Monitor and report on progress towards achieving key objectives.Stakeholder Engagement and Consultation:
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including government agencies, industry bodies, and community groups.
Facilitate consultation processes to gather feedback and improve policy frameworks.Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all policies and plans comply with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Performance Reporting and Evaluation:
Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and plans.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or higherDemonstrated experience (2 years +) in policy development, strategic planning, or a related role.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Skills and Attributes: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strategic thinker with strong project capabilities.Highly organized with attention to detail.Collaborative and inclusive approach to work.This position may require occasional travel and out-of-hours work depending on project needs.Your application will include the following questions:
