The Policy Analyst is responsible for facilitating the updates and maintenance of documentation within the Document Management System, ensuring that all governance documents are current, accurate, and aligned with ADF Careers and broader Defence policies and processing requirements.
Job Description As the Policy Analyst, you are responsible for facilitating updates and maintaining documentation within the Document Management System, ensuring that all governance documents remain current, accurate, and aligned with ADF Careers policies and processing requirements.
Your role involves regularly reviewing and analysing documentation to reflect policy changes, and effectively communicating these updates across the organization to ensure colleagues have access to the most up-to-date information.
You will: Facilitate updates and maintenance of documentation within the Document Management System.
Analyse, review and update governance documents in accordance with internal policy requirements and change management practices.
Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on best practice and ensuring document management is aligned to policy and best practice.
Identify impacted user groups, collate and coordinate feedback, ensuring agreed policies and processes align to overarching governance documentation, and the processes can be implemented across ADF Careers.
Ensure clear communication of relevant changes to documentation and changes to job roles across ADF Careers.
Participate in change initiatives and project deliverables to ensure documentation updates are aligned to improvement initiatives within ADF Careers.
Develop, manage and maintain a high service level client relationship through the provision of services that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the ADF Careers Adecco contract, further encouraging a strong and ongoing relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Your background will demonstrate: Familiarity with document management systems (DMS) and the ability to effectively manage and update documents within the system.
Ability to keep track of multiple documents, versions, and updates, ensuring they are stored and maintained properly.
Ability to critically analyse governance documents, identifying necessary updates in line with internal policies and change management practices.
Experience in reviewing and updating governance documents, ensuring they comply with current standards and regulations.
Knowledge of change management principles to ensure that updates are effectively integrated into existing processes.
Proficiency in communicating changes to documentation across the organisation, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and understand the implications.
Document Management System certificate or relevant experience with business mapping software is desirable.
