About the role This role can be conducted via any of our offices across QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS or SA. The Policy Advisor (Standards and Advice) is responsible for the development and maintenance of Regulatory Advice and other publications intended to boost the industry's understanding of the requirements of the Heavy Vehicle National Law, including the Primary Duty.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:
Drive the development, amendment, and management of the suite of products.Contribute to the development of industry standards, such as the Load Restraint Guide.Provide authoritative advice to the Manager and Director on issues relating to industry knowledge.Establish and maintain strong relationships and liaise with key stakeholders.Contribute to the development and review of complex reports, briefing notes, and submissions and prepare and deliver presentations.Through the application of industry knowledge, contribute to the development of forward work programs and strategies.Support the Manager to undertake reporting on planning, policy, operational performance, and outcomes.About You As the ideal candidate, you will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. You will have experience in using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods to understand industry trends and levels of safety risk.
