The Company…Well respected and well-known NSW Government Org. is seeking a Policy Advisor to get involved with the development and implementation of government policies to support funding programs.The successful candidates will need to have experience in providing expert policy advice to a range of stakeholders ideally within the public sector.
Please note this role will be based in the Sydney CBD, 2 days a week with WFH arrangements.
The Job…In this versatile Policy Officer role, you will be responsible for:
Collecting and analysing information and data to produce evidence-based options.Developing and analysing policies guiding the design, implementation and modification of government and commercial operations and programs.Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.Ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements.Undertaking research and formulating recommendations to support evidence based project planning and decision making.Providing advice and information to stakeholders on emerging issues.You…To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
Minimum 2 years experience in a Government Policy role with a strong policy analysis focus.Knowledge of the machinery of Government, including Cabinet and legislative processes and ability to understand and interpret a wide variety of legislation in policy development, implementation and review.Experience in reviewing policies and procedures is needed.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.How to apply…Don't miss this opportunity to work for a company that really looks after its people!
