The key duties of the position include:Draft evidence-based briefing and contribute to analysis and policy advice to the Minister and Austrade Senior Executive regarding Australia's trade and investment interests.Build and sustain positive relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders and other government agencies.Coordinate and develop input into Austrade reports, briefs, and government inquiries and submissions.Support the Austrade Executive in whole-of-government processes and policy deliberations that impact the business environment and Australia's international trade, investment, education and visitor economy competitiveness.Support events for visiting foreign delegations, outgoing Ministerial travel, business delegations, and events at multilateral forums, as well as activities around the promotion of free-trade agreements. Manage administrative or ministerial processes across the agency, including on foreign investment.Minimum Requirements: Australian citizenship – our successful candidate must be an Australian citizen.Security clearance – our successful candidate is required to hold, or have the ability to obtain and maintain, a baseline security clearance.The Australian Trade and Investment Commission – Austrade – is Australia's leading trade and investment agency.
