THE ROLE:
We have a part-time position within Austrade's Visitor Economy Capability, Workforce and EMDG Policy Branch for up to 20 hours a week. The position would be well suited to a university student undertaking studies in tourism or relevant fields who is seeking part time work. Structure of the hours could be subject to discussion on employment. The position is based in Canberra and requires working from Austrade's Canberra office.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Undertake research on issues that relate to tourism and the visitor economy.
• Support arrangements for meetings and events involving senior industry and state, territory and Commonwealth government stakeholders. This includes travel and meeting arrangements, as well as preparing briefing and information for meeting participants.
• Support development of presentations to stakeholders.
• Support implementation of THRIVE 2030 strategy, including tracking action items, liaising with stakeholders (government and industry) and/or monitoring group mailbox.

ELIGIBILITY:
Australian Citizenship - Our successful candidate must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance - Our successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
