POLICE AUXILIARY OFFICER (CUSTODY SUPPORT OFFICER) This is a pool process - There are currently 5 permanent vacancies throughout regional Western Australia. The Western Australia Police Force are actively encouraging local regional applicants to apply for the role of Police Auxiliary Officer (Custody Support). Positions are currently available in the following locations - Albany Bunbury Geraldton x 2 Kalgoorlie Custody Support Officers play a vital role assisting police with the safe admission, custody and release of detainees at station-based lockups. This is a physical role in a unique and challenging environment where no two days are the same. This is a shift work position in accordance with the relevant industrial agreement provisions. Be part of a supportive team culture while helping to protect the community. If successful, you can look forward to a salary of $80,996 - $86,827 p.a. (Band 2). Successful applicants complete 8 weeks of training at the Western Australia Police Academy in Joondalup (with a training salary of $62,144 p.a), before being placed at your preferred regional location. Accommodation in Perth can be provided during the initial 8 week training period. Government Regional Officer Housing (GROH) applies to all regional locations except Bunbury.
