Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Chief Engineer with an Engineer Class 3 qualification to join our team for operations in the Bass Strait aboard the John Duigan vessel.
Responsibilities
Support the Master in maintaining and repairing the vessel.
Guide the Second Engineer.
Handle troubleshooting and reactive maintenance/repairs.
Ensure effective communication with the Master and crew.
Uphold ISM and operational compliance.
Requirements
Minimum Engineer Class 3 qualification.
Proficiency with computer use.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Salary and Benefits
Approximate Salary:
$170,000 per year.
