About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our friendly, supportive and dynamic Allied Health team, within the Home and Community Care (HACC) area.
This is a full-time opportunity across Sydney's Inner West, Eastern and Northern Suburbs.
New Graduates are welcome to apply.
As a Podiatrist, you will provide professional advice and services based on the needs and goals of our clients.
Key responsibilities will include:

Provide comprehensive Podiatry assessment and services to the HACC clients, as directed by the Clinical lead.
Maintain appropriate and accurate documentation as per Uniting and AHPRA guidelines.
Maintain appropriate and accurate Podiatry activity statistics.
Ensure all activities are entered into the appropriate system prior to close of business on each month.
Day to day management of Podiatry allocation as per KPIs set.
Maintain responsibility for professional and personal development by participating in evidence based practice activities, training/ education, clinical supervision and performance reviews in order to continuously improve the level and quality of service.
Provide supervision to other clinical and non-clinical staff and students on clinical placement as required.
Involvement in planning, implementation and evaluation of services and identification and development of seamless care plans with other clinical staff and client coordinators.
Involvement in planning, implementation and evaluation of services and identification, development and leading of clinical practice and quality improvement activities with other staff.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent and relevant to the field of work.
Experience:

Typically, this role will require 2 or more years' experience in Podiatry practice, although due to our strong mentorship capability, we are also open to new graduate applications.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be organised, systemic, thorough, accurate and disciplined.
You will continue to develop your skills in your area of expertise and be expected to provide innovative ideas to solve problems in your discipline.
It is expected that you will possess good skills at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships and managing through influence rather than direct authority as required.
Demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and expertise in the management of high-risk foot and its pathology (Including ulceration, infection, lymphoedema, neuroarthropathy, Diabetic foot and post-amputation management)
Understanding of aged-care foot management in a Home and Community setting, under relevant government funding
Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with diverse clients and stakeholders.
Ability to complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
You are also required to hold

A current class "C" or equivalent NSW driver's licence
AHPRA Registration
Police check
WWC check
NDIS check
Current Immunisation certificates,
Have the right to work in Australia, e.g.
Australian Citizenship, permanent residency or visa with extended work rights
