These roles are flexible and negotiable as either permanent full-time, or part time positions, to suit your lifestyle. The Position: The roles will suit clinicians with strong communication skills, a friendly yet professional manner, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients. Experience or an interest in biomechanics and footwear assessments and fitting is a plus, however they can offer: Training and mentoring to expand your knowledge. Regular support from senior clinicians and external mentors. Opportunities to specialise in areas of interest, such as prescribing rights, dry needling, or paediatrics. The Organisation: Established for 25 years, Hobart Podiatrists and Footwear have an excellent reputation and referral base, creating an engaging and rewarding caseload that includes word-of-mouth referrals, GPs, orthopaedic surgeons, paediatricians, physiotherapists, and exercise physiologists. You won't just be cutting toenails all day in these positions – you will be using all your skills and training to help people stay comfortable and active. 30-60 minute appointment times. No home visits or nursing home work. Diverse and interesting caseloads including biomechanics, paediatrics, nail surgery, diabetes management, footwear assessments and routine care. Full admin support throughout the day, so you can focus on clinical care. Facilities include: Spacious, clean, light and bright consulting rooms. 3 D scanning for external orthotic labs to create custom orthoses. Onsite lab for manufacturing simple devices/insoles and customising medical-grade orthotics includes grinder, vacuum glue cabinet etc. Cold laser treatment. Well stocked supplies of consumables, aids and appliances to hand, including braces, moon boots, non-custom orthoses and additions and footwear so you have everything to hand to provide complete treatment. Onsite Footwear Store: Their footwear store offers a great selection of Podiatrist-approved, comfort and orthotic-friendly shoes from leading brands. Their trained staff assist with fittings, making it easy for you to guide clients in choosing the right footwear as part of their treatment plan – ensuring better outcomes for your patients.
