Our low carbon vision targets 10% renewable gas in our distribution networks by no later than 2030, with full decarbonisation of our networks by 2040 as a stretch target and by no later than 2050.About the Opportunity The PMO Planning Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Transmission Asset Management division through seamless coordination of project schedules, management of resources, fleet movements, and assisting in procurement activities to ensure smooth project execution. Collaboration with the PMO Onboarding Coordinator will be essential to align project activities with the requirements of Project Managers.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule project and operational activities based on project manager directives. Adjust schedules to resolve conflicting demands and ensure smooth project flow.Site Coordination: Update and coordinate site activities with Transmission Operations and the Transport Services Control Centre (TSCC). Manage operational interfaces and scheduling for Permit Issuing Officers (PIOs).Work Order Management: Assist with creating, controlling, and closing work orders in Maximo.Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain key project documentation. Manage routine correspondence, queries, and updates from customers and suppliers.Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics for field work, including the acquisition and transport of materials and equipment. Work with the Supply team for goods receipting and material movements.Procurement Support: Follow up on the acceptance of goods/services upon receipt of invoices and purchase orders.Administrative Support: Create Recommendation For Awards (RFA) documents.
