The role oversees the successful delivery of multiple programs and projects within the group.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic objectives.This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate with the internal teams to achieve revenue, customer satisfaction, and client business goals.We are looking for a go-getter with passion and drive who will be responsible for the core competencies:Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, coordinators, project engineers, and cross-functional teams.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting accountability.Continuous development of team members utilizing the company Development plan initiative.Project ManagementLead the project lifecycle from planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects to achieve organizational objectives.Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.Develop, monitor, forecast, and track project budgets.Delivery ManagementOversee the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality standards.Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing corrective actions when needed.Work and collaborate with the delivery team to ensure a smooth transition from Engineering X Projects during planning and execution.Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, clients, and vendors.Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.Quality AssuranceEnsure project deliverables meet quality standards and industry best practices.Conduct regular quality reviews and implement process improvements.GovernanceDefine and implement a standardized governance structure for projects and programs.Develop policies, processes, and guidelines for consistent project execution.Ensure alignment between project governance and organizational governance practices.Performance and Risk ManagementMonitor project performance metrics to ensure projects are on track with objectives, timelines, and budgets.Implement risk management practices, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks at the portfolio, program, and project levels.Escalate critical risks and issues to appropriate governance bodies for resolution.Change Control & Project VariationsOversee and enforce change management processes within projects to avoid scope creep or misalignment.Ensure all changes are evaluated for impact, approved through proper channels, and documented.Ensure variations are captured and raised with the client, understanding the detailed scope inclusions.Contract Management and Execution SupportAssist in negotiating project contracts by providing insights on scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.Work with procurement, legal, and finance teams to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.Ensure contracts clearly define responsibilities, performance metrics, and penalties for non-compliance.Monitor contract budgets and ensure payments align with milestones and deliverables.Review and approve invoices to ensure they match contract terms.Identify cost-saving opportunities by negotiating better terms or optimizing vendor relationships.The successful applicant will have:Experience in managing teams including remote workers within a technology environment.Minimum 10-15 years industry experience.PMP certification or equivalent project management certification required.Mature Process Improvement Capability.Experience working with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Agile, JIRA, etc.Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, etc.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
