The role requirements include leadership and coordination of all aspects of the Program Management functions including risk management, schedule management financial and program status reporting, team performance, KPI management and customer 'll provide you with access to the latest tools, systems and processes, and tailor your learning and development opportunities to ensure continued growth. Join our team today and be a part of shaping the future of Australia's defence ResponsibilitiesLead and provide direction for day-to-day management, coordination, and delivery of the Program.Lead, develop and mentor a small team of diverse project professionals.Ensure project safety, technical performance, and milestones are achieved within budgets and schedules.Deliver project within cost, schedule, and quality and performance specification.Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Assess, identify, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities in accordance with company policies.Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers.Participate in identifying and developing program growth opportunities and proposals.Managing and executing contract deliverables in accordance with delivery schedules.Skills, Experience and Qualifications:Minimum of six years' experience in operational and/or in-service support phases of major programs, preferably in Defence technology and/or construction related industries.Ability to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility, as required.Demonstrated competence in Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), Prince2 or equivalent project management methodology.Skilled in the use of project management software ( Microsoft Project, Predict!, Sharepoint, etc) and the Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrated skills in estimating work effort, duration, and value.Experience communicating with parties within and outside of own work area, as well as parties external to the organisation (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV -1 - eligibility can be found at This position is your opportunity to demonstrate real leadership by having the freedom to make decisions, own the outcome and drive the delivery of programs critical to Australian Defence Force missions.That's why at Raytheon Australia, we say 'we do great work and it's great to #workhere'.
