As the Principal Contractor for the Naval Communications Station Harold E Holt (NCSHEH) located in Exmouth, Western Australia, Raytheon Australia provides services for the maintenance and operation of critical defence infrastructure including the Space Surveillance Telescope, Very Low Frequency (VLF) Communications Transmitter and C-Band Radar Tracking Radar. To support our mission, Raytheon Australia is currently seeking a motivated, exceptional PMO Manager to lead our HEH Project Management Office and is ready to join a diverse, talented and enthusiastic team of professionals in Exmouth, Western Australia. Reporting to the Site Manager, the PMO Manager is responsible for leading a diverse team of project professionals that directly support the successful execution of the NCSHEH contracted deliverables, program milestones and financial targets. The role requirements include leadership and coordination of all aspects of the Program Management functions including risk management, schedule management financial and program status reporting, team performance, KPI management and customer liaison. Key Responsibilities Lead and provide direction for day-to-day management, coordination, and delivery of the Program. Lead, develop and mentor a small team of diverse project professionals. Ensure project safety, technical performance, and milestones are achieved within budgets and schedules. Deliver project within cost, schedule, and quality and performance specification. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Assess, identify, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities in accordance with company policies. Develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers. Participate in identifying and developing program growth opportunities and proposals. Managing and executing contract deliverables in accordance with delivery schedules. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of six years' experience in operational and/or in-service support phases of major programs, preferably in Defence technology and/or construction related industries. Ability to manage small projects or processes within area of responsibility, as required. Demonstrated competence in Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), Prince2 or equivalent project management methodology. Skilled in the use of project management software ( Microsoft Project, Predict!, Sharepoint, etc) and the Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated skills in estimating work effort, duration, and value.
