Your New Role

In this 12-month contract, you will be reporting to the Principal, Member Group Delivery. In this role, you will sit within our Member Operations team to lead and deliver large scale project outcomes for a Member Service Model uplift. The Service Model uplift involves setting up central internal capability to support internal member service functions such as knowledge management, quality management frameworks, workforce planning, and continuous improvement.

You will have proven expertise in leading Program offices through business change and transitions using project management delivery practices, and you will be responsible for the reporting and support to project managers for end-to-end delivery of projects with a focus on time, cost, quality, and benefits.

Key duties include but are not limited to: Supports project leads and sponsors in the development of a program business case, charters, resource, risk, schedule, and dependency management.Supports the definition of the scope of the program in collaboration with senior management.Determines the objectives and measures upon which the program will be evaluated at its completion, with a particular focus on value levers and benefits.Creates a detailed program plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project and reports against these for board, steerco, and other relevant forums.Ensures the program meets sponsor expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy.Supports the execution of the program against the program plan, including risk and dependency management.Ensures all minimum standards are adhered to according to the program and project lifecycle.Evaluates all key project deliverables, as well as the final product to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality, and sponsor acceptance. What You'll Need A relevant Tertiary qualification.Professional project management and change management expertise.Professional project management certification such as PMI or PRINCE2.Skilled in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Experience in the use of Project Program Management Toolsets.5+ years of significant experience as a PMO manager in a complex, IT-enabled, business services organisation.Proven ability to work to a structured delivery framework.Competent in a variety of delivery methodologies such as waterfall and agile.Skilful application of well-designed change management and communication processes as they relate to instigating and delivering on programs of change.Significant experience in working under pressure, setting and managing conflicting priorities, and meeting specified timeframes.
