Portfolio Analyst FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
We are seeking an experienced and switched on Portfolio Analyst for an initial 12-month fixed term contract based in Sydney.
Key Focus Areas: Monthly Financial Activities: Invoicing, purchase orders and non-resource accruals Cost recovery Preparation of team data for forecasting submission Forecast vs Actuals variance analysis for monthly financials Resource Management: Tracking and entering of resource effort into web-based workforce tool to enable accurate forecasting, capitalisation, and cost recovery, and to support workforce planning activities Tracking resource movements between delivery teams and across delivery areas Reconciling timesheets and vendor invoices Reporting: Financial and team-based reporting to provide data driven insights Support Pod lead to manage capacity, team efficiency metrics Skills / Experience: Project / program financials Program / project coordination Reporting Advanced Excel skills Agile experience Jira & Confluence experience a bonus Organised and attention to detail Positive attitude and a team player Adaptable We are looking for highly motivated, committed individuals with strong communications skills.
