PMO Analyst – Fin ServicesPermanentSydney CBD Based$135,000 pack + Annual BonusPreacta are pleased to be partnering with this Tier 1 business as it seeks a detail-oriented and proactive PMO Analyst to join its Sydney-based office.
Supporting a high-profile, complex technology program, you will play a critical role in ensuring the program runs smoothly by providing governance, reporting, and analysis support.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative initiatives within a leading financial organisation.Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery of program governance by maintaining accurate project documentation, schedules, and plans.Assist in the preparation of detailed program and project reports and packs for senior management and stakeholders.Analyse program performance data, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies to support informed decision-making.Collaborate with project managers and other PMO team members to ensure consistent application of methodologies and frameworks.Provide administrative support for governance forums, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes.Monitor and track program budgets and resource allocation, ensuring compliance with financial controls.Identify and implement process improvements within the PMO to enhance operational efficiency.Key Requirements:Minimum 5 years' proven experience as a PMO Analyst or similar role, preferably within financial services or large enterprise environments.Strong understanding of project/program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and governance frameworks.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly and effectively.Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence or similar.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in large, cross-functional teams.High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.Familiarity with technology-driven programs is highly desirable.Why Join:Be part of a high-performing team within a leading financial institution.Contribute to transformative, high-profile technology initiatives.Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic environment.
