The Warehouse Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all warehouse equipment and facilities. The Warehouse Maintenance Officer is required to work the PM shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm.
Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Perform routine maintenance of warehouse equipment, supporting with Swisslog maintenance teamIdentify and resolve faults or breakdowns promptly to minimise disruptions to operationsCoordinate with external vendors for specialised repairs when necessaryDevelop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all warehouse equipmentRegularly inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standardsMaintain detailed records of maintenance activitiesEnsure the warehouse environment is safe, clean, and well-maintainedMonitor and manage essential services, such as lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systemsReport and oversee any building maintenance issuesAdhere to health and safety regulations in all maintenance tasksConduct safety checks on equipment and ensure appropriate signage is in placeParticipate in audits and assist in maintaining compliance with workplace safety standardsMaintain an inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for maintenanceOrder replacement parts and supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effectivenessTrack usage and keep detailed records of inventory levelsAssist in setting up or dismantling warehouse layouts and equipment when requiredProvide support during stocktake events, equipment upgrades, or warehouse relocationsHandle general ad-hoc tasks as directed by managementWHO YOU ARE Relevant trade qualification or technical certification is preferred but not mandatoryMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar roleForklift license or other relevant operational licensesWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
