Pm Transport Supervisor

What does the job look like? Linfox's Retail business unit is currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team as an PM Transport Supervisor. The role will be based in Larapinta, working with one of Australia's biggest retailers. This role will oversee the transport operations on-site and will support the team in allocating, route planning, and dispatching metropolitan deliveries. The roster will consist of a rolling roster of 4 days on and off, working from 6pm to 6am. This is an integral role requiring a strong leader with a solid understanding of transport operations and people management. Key areas: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient truck and driver utilisationData entry and various administrative tasksEnsure daily reporting is completed accurately and in a timely mannerLiaising with customers to build an open, effective and positive relationshipMonitoring all driver/transport compliance and safety requirementsParticipating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times Are you the one?This is an opportunity for an established logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, experienced in providing leadership and effective operational decision making within a supply chain environment. You can demonstrate: Demonstrated experience in roles similar to transport load planning, driver allocation, or fleet allocation preferred.Intermediate computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, is highly valued.Strong geographical understanding of the Brisbane metro area is essential.Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
